Hangzhou GE Ling Taoism Centre (in simplified Chinese 杭州葛岭抱朴道院) is located in Hangzhou, at Gem Mountain and between XiXia Mountain across one of mountains, stretching a few miles from here overlooking the West Lake, beautiful scenery, there is “Yuen in Wonderland” name for this place.

Well-known legend of the Jin Dynasty Alchemy Gehong home located in the furnace Alchemy, named for GE Ling, also known as Ge dock. Cottage was practicing what Gehong, GE Ling at the hillside.

GE Ling Taoism Centre and Huanglong, are praised by the Jade Emperor and is referred to as the “West Lake Road, three homes.”

In many countries, there are different kinds of religions and if you regard Taoism as one of the religions in China, it is definitely true.

Actually, Taoism has a very long history, and many ancient Emperors were also believers in Taoism. They believe that everything should be kept at simple as possible and people should try their best to keep themselves as far from the world as possible. It doesn’t mean that they should fly to the moon, but the meaning is that they should try their best to live according to their own feelings and try to get rid of the world’s complicated affairs.

As this belief encourages people to throw away their sadness and things that make them feel worried, it is welcomed by many people. Of course, there are also some people opposing this idea as they think this idea is too pessimistic. However, it is quite natural that different people would have different view towards a religion, right?
